Liverpool Waterfront Partnership

We were delighted to be back in Liverpool again working with the key players who own and manage Liverpool's stunning waterfront. They asked us to help them formalise their partnership and prepare a business plan to deliver future priorities.

We ran a productive workshop at Tate Liverpool with the board exploring priorities, structures and resourcing which has given a new focus to the partnership. 2010

SUSSEX TOURISM PARTNERSHIP

Sussex Tourism Partnership is an independent coalition of public, private and 3rd sector partners, and also acts as the sub-regional body for Tourism South East (TSE), the regional tourist board. Its aim is to ensure that Sussex has a prospering, sustainable visitor economy.

The Partnership asked for our help to agree its future direction, priorities and governance - in less than two months. We followed a number of one-to-one interviews with a lively stakeholder Think Tank to air differences and reach consensus, before presenting our final recommendations to the Partnership - where they were unanimously accepted.

BOARD AWAY DAYS

We are often asked to design and facilitate Away Days for Boards and Senior Management Teams - to help organisations take a fresh look at their longer-term vision and objectives, to prepare for changes in the external environment, and to agree priorities and high-level actions.

These lively interactive sessions can be a real eye-opener for Boards who only meet formally. The less formal, yet carefully facilitated style stimulates thoughtful analysis and creative solutions. Our Away Days engage and energise people, and can be a catalyst to real and lasting change.

Developing and Managing the Fens as a Visitor Destination

"One of the strangest of all English landscapes" the Rough Guide's description of the Fens. A distinctive and characterful area, the Fens span several counties and two regions of England, creating a particular challenge to achieve a consistent development and marketing approach.

Blue Sail worked across boundaries with partners from all sectors to identify a series of appealing themes and niche offers. We reviewed the delivery structures and made recommendations for a new approach, to be led by the Destination Management Partnerships.
